Make a relaxing environment

Clear your head

Make sure that you wind down and clear your head before you go to bed.

Exercise regularly

Exercise regularly, and it's best to do so at least 2 hours before your bedtime.

Consistent sleep pattern

Make sleep a priority by having a consistent bedtime pattern.

Avoid long naps

Avoid long naps, eating or taking in any form of caffeine before bedtime.

Keep tech gadgets out

Try and keep technology out of your bedroom. This ensures that your room remains dark enough to sleep peacefully.

Cellphone bedroom rules

Ensure your cell phone is out of reach when in bed.  If you use your cell phone as an alarm clock, keep it out of arm’s reach to avoid hitting the snooze button.

Avoid device exposure

Avoid device exposure 15-20 minutes before going to bed to avoid altering your state of sleep or your body’s readiness to sleep.
